Job summary

Spencer Ogden is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a live data center construction project. This on-site, hands-on role requires executing engineered plans on the field, not design work.

You will manage installation, resolve field issues, and keep electrical work moving on a fast-paced build. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electrical engineering on construction sites, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience, and strong medium voltage expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering on construction/execution projects.
• Demonstrated medium voltage experience is required.
• GC-side experience on a general contractor team is essential.
• On-site, hands-on role with travel/rotation on weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and termination of medium voltage systems on site.
• Coordinate electrical subcontractors to align with the project schedule.
• Lead QA/QC reviews and inspections of electrical installations.
• Resolve field issues and constructability conflicts as they arise.
• Manage punch lists through to close-out and support commissioning activities.
• Interface with GC management and trades to keep electrical on the critical path.
