Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our global engineering team focused on the design and continuous innovation of AWS data center infrastructure. You will design resilient electrical distribution systems and drive uptime, cost effectiveness, and constructability for multi‑million dollar projects across regions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities (data centers, power generation, etc).
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Data center electrical designs and collaboration with other disciplines to create a construction document set.
• Review and approve equipment submittals.
• Define project scope and provide technical support during construction phases.
• Work with commissioning teams to test and validate electrical systems.
• Travel to sites for site review and coordination with field engineers.

Skills
