Job summary

SLB is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of industry experience to develop and sustain high-reliability electronics for downhole environments. You will design, test, model, and document solutions, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to innovative, cost-effective products.

You will work with Cadence PSpice, LabVIEW, and Python to simulate performance, analyze failures, and present results to teams. Strong communication and collaboration are essential in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Requires B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of component failure modes, reliability, and standards.
• Understanding of hardware circuit board design basics.
• Familiarity with high-reliability/downhole environments and accelerated reliability testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying requirements and develop cost-effective solutions.
• Analyze, design, and maintain products; support commercialization.
• Build prototypes, run lab simulations, and document results.
• Create technical reports, papers, and presentations; mentor junior engineers as needed.
• Maintain familiarity with company technology and comply with risk controls.
