Job summary

ESI Electrical Contractors, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to create calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports for diverse electrical projects.

The role requires advanced knowledge of electrical design and drafting tools, with hands-on use of AutoCAD MEP and Revit for 3-D design and permit sets. The ideal candidate has an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree and at least 5 years of design engineering experience, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of design engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate AutoCAD MEP & Revit to develop electrical drawings including 3-D and construction sets.
• Create electrical project specifications and reports.
• Use SKM Power Tools, AmpCalc, CYMCAP, Polywater, FC2 for short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and cable calculations.
• Perform field investigation audits and site observations.
• Apply building codes and standards in engineering work.
• Provide problem solving strategies and perform additional duties as assigned.
