Job summary

Salas O’Brien is seeking aSenior Electrical Engineer for Bloomington, MN with a hybrid work model. You will design electrical systems for institutional projects, lead project teams, and coordinate with Owners, Architects, and other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 8 years design experience as a registered engineer.
• LEED experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom and security.
• Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
• Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT.
• Lead a project team and manage projects.
• Coordinate with Owners and Architects and with other disciplines.
• Perform code compliance research and oversee junior engineers.
• Assist in procurement and client relations.
