A leading engineering firm in Phoenix is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to support grid-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems projects. This pivotal role requires at least 10 years of experience in electrical design and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a Professional Engineer license and strong skills in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Key responsibilities include supporting the design and technical evaluation of energy storage solutions while coordinating closely with various engineering disciplines.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in design of BESS, distributed generation, or power system controls.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Previous experience in electrical design of buildings.
Responsibilities
Support grid-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems projects.
Evaluate energy storage technologies and support vendor selection.
Conduct quality assurance on engineering designs.
