Job summary

Saronic Technologies is a leader in autonomy at sea, seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Systems to design, specify, implement, and validate ruggedized ship/vehicle power architectures for autonomous maritime platforms.

You will collaborate across mechanical, software, and autonomy teams to ensure reliable power distribution, environmental qualification, and seamless system integration. Prototyping, dockside and at-sea trials, and hands-on troubleshooting are core parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Lead the design, specification, and validation of power generation, distribution, and conversion systems for autonomous maritime platforms.
• Develop and document system requirements and specifications for power subsystems and components.
• Create engineering drawings such as one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and similar.
• Create and review analyses such as EPLAs, short-circuit calculations, power system studies, voltage drop, lighting, and harmonic analyses.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, specification, and validation of power systems for autonomous maritime platforms in extreme environments.
• Develop and document system requirements and specs for power subsystems and components.
• Create and review drawings and analyses to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and autonomy teams for seamless integration.
