Job summary

Olsson’s Facilities Engineering and Design Team seeks a Project Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design, coordinate systems, and develop construction documents for large commercial projects. You will mentor colleagues, perform QA/QC, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality installations.

The role requires a strong electrical engineering background, 5–15+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with knowledge of International Building Codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 5-15+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Understanding of International Building Codes.
• Experience with RSMeans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and coordinate systems in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Create construction documents and specifications.
• Perform QA/QC and mentor junior staff.
• Travel to job sites for observation and coordination.
