Job summary

Olsson is seeking an Electrical Technician for the Industrial Facilities and Design Team to create plans using Revit and CAD, coordinate with clients, and support the team on complex projects.

The role may involve travel to project sites; an Associate degree in Drafting or equivalent and 3 years CAD/Revit experience are required. Flexible work arrangements are available to accommodate personal needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting or equal experience.
• 3 years of CAD and Revit software experience required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team in fast paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to project sites (travel frequency to align with individual’s desire as best as possible).
• Experience in designing facilities and associated electrical systems.
• Understanding of electrical systems and applicable codes and standards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use Revit and CAD software to create plans and perform advanced‑level design work.
• Coordinate with clients and provide technical support to the team.
• Travel to job sites for observations or field work when needed.
• Contribute to projects in fast-paced environments with flexible, timely solutions.
