This role offers a hybrid work schedule, blending in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

The successful candidate will lead and execute electrical engineering design work focused on AI infrastructure, data centers, mission-critical facilities, and power distribution systems.

A Professional Engineer (PE) license and 8+ years of relevant experience are required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive design and analysis of electrical power distribution systems for AI infrastructure and data centers, including high-capacity switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and backup generation for mission-critical operations.
• Conduct detailed electrical assessments of data center facilities, including load analysis, performance evaluations, power quality studies, and diagnostic testing such as thermal imaging.
• Prepare detailed technical reports summarizing findings, performance assessments, recommendations, and cost estimates for infrastructure improvements and system upgrades.
• Develop construction documents and specifications for electrical systems in alignment with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, NETA, and client requirements.
• Design and specify power distribution equipment for high-density computing environments, including medium-voltage systems, emergency power, and monitoring infrastructure optimized for reliability and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle while maintaining system reliability and operational continuity.
• Contribute to value engineering efforts by analyzing design options, improving power efficiency, and aligning lifecycle costs with project goals.
• Support procurement activities for electrical equipment and systems, including bid document preparation, addenda, and contractor coordination.
