Job summary

West Coast Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and qualification of advanced aerospace electronic systems. You will own hardware from concept to production, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑reliability hardware for demanding applications.

The role requires 5–10 years in electrical engineering, strong analog/digital/mixed-signal expertise, and hands‑on testing experience. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5-10 years of professional electrical engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in analog, digital, mixed-signal, and/or power electronics design.
• Experience developing electronic hardware from concept through testing and validation.
• Experience with circuit analysis, simulation, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with schematic capture, PCB development, and hardware integration.
• Familiarity with laboratory test equipment and hardware validation activities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ownership mentality and ability to independently execute technical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic hardware.
• Perform circuit analysis, simulation, component selection, and technical trade studies.
• Develop schematics and support PCB layout activities.
• Design, integrate, test, and troubleshoot complex electronic systems.
• Support hardware through prototype, qualification, and production phases.
• Collaborate with systems, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers.
• Participate in design reviews, root‑cause investigations, and technical decision‑making activities.
• Generate engineering documentation, test procedures, and technical reports.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as needed.
