Job summary

RS&H is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for its Aerospace and Equipment Group. You will design and integrate power distributions, standby systems, grounding, lighting, fire detection, access control, and telecoms for aerospace and energy projects.

Based in the United States, prefer Merritt Island, FL, but remote location willingness is noted. Requires PE license, ABET degree, 7+ years experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Active PE license required.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems and standby power.
• Develop building electrical systems including grounding, lighting, fire detection, and access control.
• Produce high-quality diagrams, schematics, BOMs and build-to-print docs for control systems.
• Perform detailed analyses such as load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and cable sizing.
• Evaluate components for ground support equipment and hazardous location wiring.
