Job summary

SNC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and testing of high-performance electrical/electronic systems for aerospace and defense applications. You will guide circuit card assemblies, establish wiring design practices, and mentor junior engineers in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, validation, and continuous improvement of engineering processes while supporting DoD and DHS projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering or a related role.
• Expert proficiency in electrical/electronic design and validation techniques.
• Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools.
• Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the design and development of electrical/electronic systems.
• Lead and execute the development of circuit card assemblies where applicable.
• Provide technical guidance for electrical wiring design practices.
• Conduct and oversee testing and validation of electronic systems and components.
• Troubleshoot and debug electronic circuits at expert level.
• Develop and review high-level designs, test plans, and results.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Lead design reviews and provide strategic technical insights.
