Job summary

Traeger, headquartered in Salt Lake City, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for Advanced Product R&D. You will explore and prototype electrical components and architectures for future grill platforms, collaborating with the EE and ME teams to build working prototypes and validate designs.

The role requires deep mixed-signal design expertise, PCB layout proficiency, and embedded firmware familiarity to support early prototyping and supplier engagements, with domestic and Asia travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in electrical hardware engineering.
• Strong analog/digital circuit design fundamentals.
• Experience with UART, SPI, I2C, CAN interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype electrical subsystems and architectures.
• Collaborate with EE team and integrate prototypes with ME partners.
• Build and test prototype hardware with lab equipment.
• Evaluate components and provide rough BOM estimates for early subsystems.
• Travel domestically and overseas for supplier visits and NPI activities.
