Job summary

Motivo is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a tight-knit multidisciplinary team in Compton, CA. The role focuses on mechanical and electrical system design, prototype builds, and firmware integration for EV/auto-oriented projects.

You’ll contribute hands-on engineering and mentoring to a variety of demanding programs. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of experience, strong system-level thinking, and proficiency in embedded C, RTOS, and vehicle communication protocols.

Qualifications

• Six plus years of professional engineering experience.
• Direct technical involvement on electro-mechanical projects with embedded electronics.
• Strong communication skills to present results to internal and external customers.
• Design experience with motors, motor controllers, power supplies, inverters/converters, and/or power electronics.
• Experience with embedded electronics design containing MCUs, DSPs, FPGAs/CPLDs, memory, high-speed signaling, MEMS.
• Familiarity with CAN, USB, SPI, I2C, Ethernet.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent fast-paced projects.
