Job summary

Actalent in Wisconsin is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and optimize compact high-speed embedded computing platforms. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing high-speed digital hardware and CPU-based systems.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and PCB design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Cadence PCB design tools.
• Experience with board bring-up, debugging, and validation.
• Ability to interpret and modify complex reference designs.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in designing and developing compact, high-performance embedded computing platforms. This role emphasizes adapting and optimizing advanced CPU-based reference designs into custom hardware solutions while ensuring signal integrity, power integrity, and overall system performance. The successful candidate will engage in schematic design, provide guidance on PCB layout, and participate in hardware bring-up and validation activities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr.
