Actalent in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead analog circuit design and electrical system development. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design and development of analog circuits and electrical systems, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate electrical components across platforms, ensuring optimal functionality. Your role involves overseeing the analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to enhance performance and reliability. You will develop and implement control algorithms and systems tailored to specific operational needs. Additionally, you will coordinate with external partners and suppliers to source high-quality electrical components that align with project goals. You will also provide mentorship and guidance in electrical engineering principles to junior engineers and the broader project team, drafting comprehensive technical documentation to ensure clear communication and adherence to project parameters. Staying updated on industry advancements, particularly in electrical engineering and related technologies, is essential.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Altium, SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, and other modeling/simulation tools.
• Programming languages: Python, C/C++.
• Proficient in Microcontrollers (SPI, I2C, UART, DAQ).
• Hands‑on experience with RTOS.
• Experience with PLC.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and timeliness.
• Familiarity with Directed Energy and Space Domain Awareness technologies.

Work Environment

The role is on‑site, requiring presence 5 days a week, from 8am to 4pm. The work environment is casual, allowing for jeans and polo attire.
