Senior Electrical Engineer
- Lead product development from concept through release, including requirements definition, system architecture, design, integration, testing, and validation.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, offering technical leadership and fostering team growth.
- Ensure designs comply with EMI/EMC, functional safety, and environmental standards (e.g., ISO 16750, ISO 7637, CISPR 25, ISO 26262).
- Conduct comprehensive design reviews to maintain high quality and robust cross-disciplinary integration.
- Design analog and digital electronic circuits for rugged environments—power distribution, sensor interfaces, control modules, etc.
- Perform schematic capture and oversee PCB layout with a focus on DFM, DFT, and signal integrity.
- Support root cause analysis and resolution of field and production issues using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering for seamless product transition into production with focus on quality, efficiency, and cost.
- Provide technical support to customers, including on-site troubleshooting, commissioning, and validation as needed.
- Clearly communicate technical content to engineers, leadership, and external stakeholders through written documentation and presentations.
- Participate in engineering change requests (ECRs) and product customizations in collaboration with quality, operations, and business development.
- Support proposal and quote efforts by contributing technical input, estimating engineering effort, and identifying risks or innovation opportunities.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to investigate issues, implement corrective actions, and enhance long-term product reliability.

Minimum Qualifications
Education- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience- 5-10 years of hands-on hardware engineering experience in automotive, off-highway, or rugged embedded electronics industries.
- Strong experience in analog/digital design, power electronics, embedded processors (MCU/MPU), and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, etc.).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electronics and resolve system-level issues using data-driven methods.
- Experience turning customer requirements into testable, production-ready specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
- Clear, effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product teams.
Technical Tools & Skills- Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulation tools.
- Skilled in using test equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Experience with revision control and documentation systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience- Familiarity with vehicle controls, embedded system software, or similar domains.
- Understanding of product compliance and standards (IEC, ISO, SAE, MIL-STD).
- Exposure to new product development (NPD) processes within matrixed organizations.
- Experience supporting or developing embedded software codebases.
Tools- Hands-on experience with OrCAD/Cadence design tools (e.g., CIS Schematic Capture, Allegro PCB Editor, PSPICE).
