Job summary

LER TechForce is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK. This direct-hire role requires expertise in embedded controls, hardware design, and system development. Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Responsibilities include hardware design, production drawings, and collaboration with software teams. Travel to customer sites and vendors may be required. A strong track record in innovative solutions and effective communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of related industry experience.
• Proficiency in hardware circuit design and circuit simulation software.
• Experience with Schematic Capture and PCB Layout tools.
• Strong communication skills; travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to research efforts to develop a solution or a new product
• Create production drawings based on customer specifications and industry regulations
• Perform hardware design including design and failure analysis
• Involved in design strategy, hardware creation, new product definition, and system development
• Be familiar with and work within the guidelines of accepted practices and defined processes
• Provide input and direction for product specifications, automated test fixtures, and test software
• Create functional models and prototypes to perform validation and testing through experimental methods
• Author specifications that allow seamless interaction with the software teams
• Assure the solution provided meets industry quality and safety standards
• Use six sigma tools to evaluate and validate designs
• Specify materials and production processes
• Interact with sales personnel and travel to customers and vendors as required
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of related experience within this industry
• Proficiency in hardware circuit design, circuit simulation software, and other design tools such as Schematic Capture and PCB Layout
• Proven track record in generating innovative and unique solutions
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods used to design electrical systems
• Ability to travel
• Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results
