Job description

Location: Tulsa, OK, Bentonville, AR, OR Remote

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our client’s team. In this role, you’ll design and deliver electrical systems for a variety of building projects while collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams. You’ll play a key role in ensuring code compliance, safety, and high‑quality project execution.

Job Duties:

• Perform 480 volt and below power system studies using SKM Power Tools to ensure accurate equipment specification and verify compliance with applicable codes, customer PPE requirements, and incident‑energy standards.
• Perform electrical engineering calculations including short circuit studies, arc flash studies voltage drop, load analysis, and fault current.
• Be the Electrical discipline lead for assigned projects.
• Design, coordinate, and produce electrical distribution construction documents for building and facility projects.
• Develop designs in compliance with applicable industry standards and building codes, including the NEC, energy codes, International Codes (I‑Codes), and local amendments.
• Select and specify electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
• Represent the Electrical discipline in project meetings.
• Perform site observations and/or evaluate point cloud scans as required to document existing/installed conditions.
• Participate in multi‑discipline QC reviews.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
• Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and scope of work.

Required:

• Minimum of three years of experience performing power system studies in SKM or similar software for buildings and facilities.
• Eligible to sit for the FE and PE exams
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• Revit Proficiency
• Strong communication skills

Preferred:

• Revit is highly preferred (will entertain candidates with AutoCAD)
