Job summary

Maxwell Bond is helping an early-stage NYC/Brooklyn robotics company build humanoid robots for real-world physical work. Senior Electrical Engineer will own the electrical architecture from concept to working hardware.

You will tackle power distribution, motor control, sensors, PCB design, and embedded systems while integrating electricals with mechanical, controls, and AI engineers on a full-stack humanoid platform. Equity is offered along with a competitive base salary.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building robotics or complex electromechanical systems.
• Background in robotics, robotic arms, mechatronics or other advanced hardware acceptable.
• Experience with electrical architecture and system design.
• Ability to own electrical architecture from concept to hardware.

Senior Electrical Engineer - Humanoid Robotics

NYC/Brooklyn | Up to $300K + Equity | Early-Stage Humanoid Robotics

We're working with an early-stage robotics company developing humanoid robots designed to take on real-world physical work across manufacturing - from manipulation and assembly to tasks that traditionally require people.

You'll be joining a 5-person team, operating across the full robotics stack: hardware, electronics, motion control and AI/robot learning. Following a significant new funding round, they're now looking to add 4-5+ engineers to the core team.

What you'll be doing

Joining in this early stage as an Electrical Engineer, you'll have genuine ownership over the electrical architecture of the robots - helping take systems from early concepts through to working hardware.

You'll be working across areas such as:

• Electrical architecture and system design
• Power distribution, motor control and actuators
• Sensors, embedded systems and PCB design
• Hardware bring-up, testing and debugging
• Integrating electrical systems into a complex humanoid platform
• Working closely with mechanical, controls and AI/robotics engineers

What they're looking for

• Electrical/Electronics Engineers who have hands-on experience building robotics or complex electromechanical systems.
• You don't necessarily need previous humanoid experience - backgrounds in robotics, robotic arms, mechatronics or other advanced hardware could all be highly relevant.

For this, they are looking to hire multiple people, and have a salary on offer ranging from $180,000 to $300k base + meaningful equity
