Job summary

LeoForce seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Irving team on a hybrid basis, focusing on commercial building electrical systems. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required to design power, lighting, and fire alarm systems and to coordinate with other disciplines.

The role involves leading design development, energy modeling, and construction documentation, while serving as Owner’s representative during construction and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or higher required.
• 6+ years of experience in MEP industry.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience coordinating with multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team in developing design documents (conceptual design, equipment selection, drawings, specs, energy modeling).
• Coordinate all design disciplines for a complete, code-compliant design.
• Manage client expectations throughout the design process.
• Communicate with colleagues, consultants, and vendors to meet objectives and schedules.
• Serve as Owner’s representative during construction (RFI responses, submittal reviews, site inspections).
• Provide mentorship to junior designers and engineers.

Seeking Electrical Engineers to join our Team. This person will have experience with engineering consulting firms, electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and building systems for commercial buildings; with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or higher)
• 6+ years of experience in the MEP industry
• EIT certification required; PE license is a plus
• Revit & AutoCAD Software Proficiency
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience coordinating with other disciplines on projects
• Collaborate with our clients to understand their needs, constraints, and criteria for success.
• Develop design solutions, weighing the benefits and risks of various options, and helping the client choose a path forward.
• Lead the project team in developing design documents (conceptual design, equipment selection, construction drawings, specifications, energy modeling, etc.)
• Coordinate all design disciplines to ensure a comprehensive, code-compliant, and constructable design.
• Manage the client’s expectations throughout the design process.
