Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Engineering degree, Electrical/Mechanical/Civil or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in electric utility distribution engineering and design.
• Experience designing and supporting overhead and underground distribution systems.
• Knowledge of utility distribution standards, NESC, and construction practices.
• Proficiency with utility design and work management software including the listed tools.
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and engineering expertise for overhead and underground electrical distribution system projects.
• Apply client standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements to design and execution of distribution projects.
• Support project execution by managing assignments, monitoring performance, and maintaining client relationships.
• Develop and oversee engineering design packages using client-specific software and design tools.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of engineering and design deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
