Job summary

Craig Technologies is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to support the Sentinel program with Bechtel. You will prepare electrical 3D designs in SmartPlant 3D and 2D drawings in AutoCAD/SmartSketch for DOD and USAF facilities, ensuring compliance with NEC/NEMA/IEEE standards.

The role requires US citizenship, the ability to obtain a government secret clearance, and collaboration with engineers and other designers on complex nuclear/industrial projects.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Knowledge of NEC, NEMA/ANSI/IEEE standards.
• Experience with electrical drawings for nuclear/industrial facilities.
• Hands-on with SmartPlant 3D, SmartSketch, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Model electrical rooms and equipment in SmartPlant 3D.
• Create BOMs and installation details in SmartSketch and AutoCAD.
• Perform lighting calculations with AGI32 and grounding layouts with ETAP.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and engineering teams.
• Ensure designs comply with codes and customer requirements.
