Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to support EPC power generation projects in Tempe, AZ. You will develop raceway designs including duct banks, embedded conduit and cable trays from concept to completion, collaborating with construction teams to ensure safe, cost-effective, and constructible outcomes.

The role requires 8+ years in electrical design, proficiency in SmartPlant 3D and CAD tools, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

• Conceptualize in a 3D environment and verify constructability.
• Experience with electrical design for power generation projects.

Responsibilities

• Design duct bank, embedded conduit, cable tray, grounding and lighting systems from concept to completion.
• Perform calculations to size conduits and cable trays per NEC.
• Develop 3D models and check for interferences and constructability.
• Coordinate with the project team and manage design documentation.
• Provide field support and resolve issues during construction.
