Job summary

Trilon is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to join our dynamic MEP team in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will design and draft electrical engineering systems for various project types, coordinate with other engineering disciplines, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in electrical design and is proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit. This position offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in a consulting or design firm.
• Proficiency in utilizing CAD software for electrical design.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to develop electrical design concepts.
• Create detailed electrical drawings and layouts.
• Perform calculations and analysis for load sizing and energy efficiency.
• Coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines.
• Conduct field surveys for existing electrical systems.
• Review electrical specifications and shop drawings.
• Provide mentorship to junior designers.
• Stay updated with advancements in electrical design technologies.
