Job summary
Comunidade Metodista in New Jersey is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary engineering team. You will support electrical design, load calculations, and coordination with architects and engineers.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in an MEP consulting environment, AutoCAD experience, and familiarity with NEC/codes. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred but not required; on-site, full-time position with solid benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred but not required).
- NJ code knowledge required.
- Experience with electrical load calculations.
- Experience on power lighting, distribution and electrical design projects.
- 5+ years in an MEP consulting environment.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Shop drawings review & process.
- Layout electrical systems using AutoCAD.
- Specifications preparation.
- Coordinate with architects and engineers for compliance.
- Documentation of all shop & project drawings.
- Team player with good communication skills.
