Job summary

Stone Peak Recruiting in Salt Lake City, UT, seeks an experienced Electrical Designer to join a multidisciplinary engineering and architectural team. You will generate electrical drawings for client review, bidding, and construction, and help develop one-line diagrams and 3D layouts.

Ideal candidates have a college degree or technical certificate, 5+ years with an engineering firm in the industrial sector, and proficiency with Revit and Autodesk Building Systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical certificate required.
• 5+ years experience with an engineering firm, preferably in the industrial sector.
• Experience with electrical construction drawings.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Generation of electrical drawings for client review, bidding and construction.
• Assist in electrical design.
• Development of one-line diagrams.
• 3D layout of large equipment and raceways.
• Layout of electrical equipment/devices and circuiting.
• Light fixture layout and circuiting.
• Layout of fire alarm horn/strobes per spacing criteria.
• Low voltage systems layout and circuiting.
• Development of electrical equipment schedules.
• Development of electrical equipment and conduit support/mounting details.
• Check and publish drawing sets.
