Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Designer with OEM experience to own the design and delivery of industrial control systems in Green Bay, WI. You will work with control engineers on packaging machinery from concept to commissioning.

Qualified candidates have a two-year degree in electrical technology and hands-on OEM experience; travel up to 25% is typical. NEC/UL compliance and AutoCAD Electrical expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in electrical technology is the baseline.
• Extensive OEM experience, ideally in packaging industries.
• Experience designing and delivering electrical control panels under 480V.
• Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley hardware and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Designing and assembling electrical control panels under 480V for packaging machinery.
• Specifying and configuring Allen-Bradley hardware — MCCs, VFDs, IO cards, power supplies, Ethernet switches.
• Designing integrated control systems using PLCs networked to Remote IO Panels.
• Specifying instruments used in packaging environments — photo-eyes, proximity switches, flow and pressure transmitters.
• Designing pneumatic systems and sizing components appropriately.
• Working in AutoCAD Electrical; commissioning and debugging in the field.
• Applying NEC and UL requirements for industrial control panels.
