Job summary

A leading engineering company based in McEwen, TN is looking for an Electrical/Instrumentation Designer to oversee the complete design of assignments. The ideal candidate will possess an Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Drafting and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include design production, on-site assistance during startup, and ensuring adherence to electrical standards. Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation drafting and design.
• Ability to create accurate electrical installation documents from vendor equipment drawings.
• Knowledge of schedule constraints and information requirements for electrical deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for complete design of electrical/instrumentation assignments.
• Produce installation details and electrical plans under minimal supervision.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup.

Skills

Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)

Ability to perform lighting level calculations

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Proficient in 2D AutoCAD and Microstation

Good communication skills

Education
