Job summary

STSI (Staffing Technical Services Inc.) is seeking a Sr. Electrical Designer in the Northwest Denver Metro Area, CO.

The role is on-site and involves creating detailed electrical designs, drafting for UL 508A and UL NNNY standards, and collaborating with engineering supervision. You will use SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical to develop schematics, layouts, and BOM-packed manufacturing drawings, while coordinating with production to ensure timely and accurate depictions of equipment and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or higher is preferred.
• 3-5+ years’ experience in conduit schedules & layout, cable tray layouts, schematics and power one-lines.
• SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical experience is required.
• Knowledge of motor control schematics and process control diagrams.
• Familiarity with PLC panels, enclosures, I/O components and wiring layouts.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical designs and drawings that meet project specs.
• Develop schematics and layouts using SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical.
• Produce manufacturing drawings with BOMs and accurate spatial relations.
• Create conduit, cable tray, and wire schedules for layout drawings.
• Visit sites to verify designs and record changes; work with production on depictions.
• Assist in panel layouts and qualification for quotes/bids.
