Job summary

CTCI Americas Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Designer in Houston, TX to produce and check electrical design deliverables for industrial projects.

You will work under the direction of the Lead Electrical Engineer and coordinate across disciplines to ensure designs meet project specifications and codes. The ideal candidate has substantial experience with one-line/three-line diagrams, panel schedules, and BIM/CAD platforms.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in drafting/design, or equivalent CAD/design training.
• Minimum 8-10 years of electrical design experience in industrial/EPC/data center environments.
• Lead electrical design deliverables (one-lines, panel schedules, cable/conduit routing) with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check electrical design deliverables using AutoCAD/Revit per project standards.
• Coordinate electrical design with civil, structural, mechanical, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop, cable sizing, and short-circuit studies under Lead Engineer guidance.
• Review vendor/subcontractor drawings and provide technical comments for review.
• Assist with material take-offs, BOMs, and requisitions for electrical equipment.
