Coffman Engineers’ Orange County office is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer with a minimum of seven years of experience to work on commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, federal, and industrial projects. The candidate will design and oversee electrical systems and coordinate drawings with architects, owners, and contractors.

Ideal applicants hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, strong AutoCAD and Revit skills, and familiarity with building power distribution.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with building power distribution design.
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills.
• California Electrical Engineering License preferred.
• Experience with DSA and HCAi projects preferred.
• Experience with California projects and codes preferred.
• Experience with Title-24 Part 6 California Energy Conservation Code preferred.
• Experience with SKM and/or ETAP software preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform and oversee analysis and design on a variety of commercial and institutional building projects.
• Collaborate with the architect, owner, and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of electrical drawings.
• Participate with a team of engineers, designers and drafters to execute electrical designs.
• Interface with contractors during construction to ensure positive results with minimum complications.
• Work closely with the Discipline Manager and assist in design and drawing production.

We are looking for anSenior Electrical Designerwith a minimum of sevenyears of experience, who wants to work and grow as a team player within our progressive multi-discipline firm. The successful individual will be an engineer with solid experience in the design of large and small commercial, retail, institutional, healthcare, education, federal, and industrial projects.

In This Role You Will:

Expected annual salary of $90,000 - $120,000.
