Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking a Senior Electrical Design & Analysis Engineer to join the BT&E Vehicle Management System team. You will lead hardware/software design activities, mentor engineers, and develop test architectures in a dynamic environment supporting Phantom Works and Fixed-Wing programs.

Applicants should have a strong background in avionics, flight controls, and test development, plus a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical) or related fields.
5+ years of experience with avionics integration, design, or testing.
3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, test & evaluation, and/or development/use of Special Test Equipment.
Experience in flight controls systems.

Responsibilities

Lead major design activities for hardware/software products.
Mentor junior engineers in design practices and oversee their work products.
Develop architectures for test systems.
Select components for hardware designs and support procurement/fabrication.
Integrate hardware systems and/or software in a test setting.
Operate complex test stations and test software.
Test and validate to meet requirements.
Resolve fielded hardware/software issues across the lifecycle.
Interface with programs/customers to develop requirements and statements of work.
Develop estimates for new work and drive schedules.
