Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. seeks a Senior Design Engineer to join our Warrendale, PA facility. You will provide technical leadership across hardware and software design, verification, and performance validation.

The role requires hands-on PCB design in Altium, firmware support, RAMS, and interaction with customers and partners to meet strict specifications. You will coordinate end-to-end engineering activities and deliver robust power electronics solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Power Electronics with 7+ years’ PCB experience.
• Experience with PCB design for propulsion control circuits or industrial inverters.
• Strong analog and digital electronics fundamentals.
• Hands-on PCB testing and validation.
• Knowledge of networks and communication protocols.
• Experience with design for manufacturing and product lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer for schematic capture and layout.
• Advanced computer skills including CAD and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for key milestones through design and development.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and design partners to meet specs.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across hardware, software, RAMS, and field service.
• Design and develop PCBs in Altium, perform bench testing.
• Manage requirements management and traceability.
• Prepare documentation and customer deliverables.
• Support Field Service activities as needed.
