Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret written specifications and contract drawings to develop complete electrical designs.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., UL508A, NEC, NFPA).
• Travel to customer facilities as needed and work non-business hours based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and exercise functional authority for design and completion of engineering projects.
• Analyze schematics to determine design factors and layouts.
• Produce electrical device and panel layouts, motor and control schematics, and BOMs.
• Review designs for compliance with specs and customer requirements.
• Interface with customers for installation and commissioning support.
