Germfree is seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer in Ormond Beach, FL to lead electrical design for aseptic equipment and modular facilities. You will guide development from concept to production, mentor engineers, and work with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, systems integration (BMS/HVAC), and ensuring reliability and manufacturability across product lines.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering; M.S. preferred.
• PE strongly preferred.
• 15+ years designing engineered products or capital equipment.
• Experience designing low-voltage controls and facility power distribution.
• Strong background in industrial controls and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design across Germfree’s product portfolio.
• Develop electrical, controls, and automation platforms for multiple product lines.
• Drive designs from concept through production, installation, and field support.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement engineering solutions.
