Job summary

InPwr, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to lead electrical design for mid- to large-scale projects in Charlotte, NC. You will oversee QA/QC and serve as a technical resource for junior engineers while coordinating with project managers on strategy.

The role includes client-facing responsibilities and collaboration with the design team to deliver permits and construction-ready packages. A PE license is preferred and 5+ years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• PE license preferred for advanced responsibilities.
• 5+ years in electrical power distribution and lighting design for various projects.
• Strong NEC/IEEE knowledge and ability to interpret codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for mid- to large-scale projects.
• Oversee QA/QC processes and coordinate CAD/BIM outputs.
• Collaborate with project managers on design strategy.
• Interact with clients, vendors, and other trades for permit-ready packages.
• Ensure designs comply with budgets and schedules.
