Job summary

Advantest is seeking an Electrical Engineer, Design in Lake Forest, CA to lead the design and integration of complex electronic test systems for semiconductor production and characterization. The role involves cross-functional collaboration across electrical, software, and mechanical teams to deliver robust systems.

Qualifications include a BS in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years in multi-disciplinary teams, with 5+ years in electrical circuit and PCB layout design.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in multi-disciplinary teams.
• 5+ years in electrical circuit and PCB layout design.
• Experience with complex systems integration and testing.
• Experience with semiconductor testers is a plus.
• Willing to work onsite in Lake Forest, CA.

Responsibilities

• Participates in a cross-functional team to develop creative, cost-competitive integration/ validation/ test solutions for new products at a system and sub-system level.
• Interfaces with system engineering team and Manufacturing to ensure that systems meet all requirements and ship on time.
• Electrical design, including high speed digital circuit, analog circuit design, micro-computer, FPGA, power switching circuits.
• Electrical signal integrity/ Power integrity simulation and analysis.
• Collaborates with the mechanical and firmware design teams, to ensure proper integration and validation of systems.
• selection, participating in supplier design reviews, etc.
• Drive reliability and quality into the testing process of all units shipped to customers.
• Ensures that technical reviews occur in accordance with company processes
• Produce system specification and test acceptance documentation.
• Support factory testing activities as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
