Job summary

Advantest is seeking an Electrical Engineer, Design to drive the development of complex electronic test systems used for semiconductor production and characterization. You will work with cross-functional teams on circuit design, PCB layout, integration, and validation to ensure systems meet requirements and ship on time.

Responsibilities include designing high‑speed digital and analog circuits, FPGA, and power switching, conducting signal integrity analyses, and producing system specifications

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7+ years in a multi-disciplinary team with electrical, software, and mechanical engineers.
• 5+ years in electrical circuit design and PCB layout design/process.
• Experience with semiconductor testers (ATEs) or characterization testers is a plus.
• Willingness to work onsite in Lake Forest, CA.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate complex electronic test systems for semiconductor devices and modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet requirements and ship on time.
• Design high-speed digital and analog circuits, FPGA, and power switching systems.
• Perform signal integrity and power integrity simulations and analysis.
• Produce system specifications and test acceptance documentation.
• Support factory testing activities as needed.
