fab2, based in Austin, TX and San Francisco, CA, seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to own electrical hardware for chip fabrication machines end-to-end. You will identify problems, prototype solutions, productionize, and deliver reliable, tested systems for our fab tools.

You may work on high-voltage low-noise converters, motor drivers, and precision temperature controllers, ensuring designs move smoothly from concept to production with a hands-on team.

Qualifications

• Experience owning electrical hardware design end-to-end from concept to production.
• Proficiency in analog and digital/mixed-signal circuit design and hands-on testing.

Responsibilities

• Own the clean-sheet design of PCBAs and electrical systems end-to-end.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software, mechanical, and process teams.
• Investigate design approaches with simulations and component Trade-offs.
• Break down hardware challenges into actionable execution plans.
