Job summary

fab2 is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to own the electrical hardware for our chip fabrication machines from concept to production. You will design PCBAs, develop high-performance converters, drive bring-up and testing, and collaborate with software and mechanical teams to deliver reliable, integrated fab tools.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience owning electrical hardware design end-to-end from concept through production.
• Proven ability with analog and digital/mixed-signal circuits and hands-on testing.

Responsibilities

• Own the clean-sheet design of PCBs and electrical systems end-to-end, including schematic capture, layout, bringup, testing and documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software, mechanical, and process teams to align requirements and targets.
• Investigate design approaches with simulations and trade-offs between off-the-shelf parts and custom solutions.
• Break down complex hardware challenges into actionable execution plans from prototype to production.
