Russell Tobin is seeking a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer IV (ICT design) for a Spokane, WA contract role. Pay rate ranges from $65 to $75 per hour, depending on experience.

Contract duration is 12+ months. The role focuses on scalable ICT inside- and outside-plant designs, coordination with MEP/CSA, and rigorous submittal reviews, with field surveys and construction administration. Qualifications

• 5+ years ICT design engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• BICSI RCDD certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with building codes and regulations.
• Ability to carry concepts from exploration to deployment or mass production.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable inside- and outside-plant designs with drawings and specs.
• Coordinate building designs with MEP and CSA teams.
• Review and approve ICT space, pathway, cabling, and equipment submittals.
• Identify risks and escalate to sponsor promptly.
• Perform construction administration: respond to RFIs, review submittals, field surveys.
• Generate site reports from field conditions.
• Coordinate with construction teams for expedited solutions.
