General Dynamics Land Systems is seeking a full-time Electrical Design Senior Engineer to join our engineering team at the Merthyr facility in South Wales. The successful candidate will earn £45,600 to £57,000 based on experience and potential, with a proactive approach and a strong desire to grow professionally.

You will work across a range of stakeholders with a holistic approach to electrical engineering, considering safety, cost and ease of manufacture.

Qualifications

• Proficient in 3D CAD software and capable of design from system to part level.
• Experience with Cradle to Grave development lifecycle.
• Experience supporting prototype and production teams during FoT and life-change updates.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical design solutions from system to part level.
• Take designs from concept, through development & validation (Cradle to Grave).
• Support to prototype and production teams during FoT fit and through life change updates.
• Preparation of material for internal and external design reviews.
