Compensation: Estimated $115,000 to $160,000 annual salary based on experience, with potential for increase upon obtaining PE license.

Hybrid Location: Midland Park, NJ, or Goshen, NY office (Assessment for hybrid work arrangement after a 90-day in-office training period).

Work Schedule: Potential for 3 days in the office and 2 from home, subject to client needs and manager approval.

Job Type: Full-time W-2 position with benefits.

Senior Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Mentor junior staff
• Design and coordinate electrical projects adhering to industry standards
• Perform engineering tasks for project development, design, and construction
• Prepare proposals and contribute to submissions
• Collaborate with architects, owners, vendors, and officials throughout project phases
• Manage construction administration, including reviews and RFIs
• Assist with site observations, proposals, reports, and presentations
• Develop applications, permits, and specifications
• Participate in meetings and client interactions
• Perform electrical load calculations and use load software

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years (up to 10) experience in AEC industry
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field
• PE or EIT certification aiming for PE licensure in NJ & NY
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical standards
• Experience with client-facing projects
• Mentoring experience
• Ability to read construction documents
• Strong project management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in architectural/engineering firms
• REVIT and power analysis software experience
