Job summary
RANDALL's Titusville Electrical Division seeks an Electrical Design Analyst to support estimating, planning, and delivery of large-scale commercial electrical construction projects along the Space Coast from our Titusville office. The role reviews drawings, specifications, and design narratives to identify conflicts, missing information, and potential cost exposure before pricing or construction.
Ideal candidates have 7+ years in electrical construction with NEC, BIM/VDC, and design-review
Qualifications
- 7+ years of electrical construction, estimating, project management, BIM/VDC, or design-review experience.
- Strong understanding of commercial/industrial electrical construction.
- Experience reviewing drawings, specs, one-lines, site plans, and underground systems.
- Ability to complete quantity takeoffs and construction calculations.
- NEC knowledge and interpretation of electrical installation practices.
Responsibilities
- Review drawings and specifications to identify conflicts and missing information.
- Verify quantities and ensure alignment with installation configuration.
- Evaluate constructability and coordinate with field and design teams.
- Prepare scope-comparison sheets and bid-leveling documents.
- Draft and log RFIs and track their impact on scope and cost.
- Support change orders with technical backup and calculations.
- Coordinate with BIM/VDC, estimating, engineering, and field teams.
