Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical in Pecos, TX, is seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager-Data Center to support one or more construction projects.

You will assist with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination, collaborating with clients, A/E, vendors, and subs to keep projects on time and within budget while upholding company standards and safety policies. The role requires travel as needed and close collaboration with field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2–5 years construction project admin experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM with overall management and coordination of one or more construction projects.
• Help plan, organize, and staff field positions.
• Support project objectives, policies, and standards.
• Maintain communication with clients, A/E, vendors, and subs.
• Monitor progress with on-site Superintendent to meet schedule and budget.
• Identify potential issues and assist in corrective actions.
• Represent company in project meetings.
• Support financial aspects: track costs, review invoices, monitor rentals.
• Maintain project docs: submittals, RFIs, change orders, minutes.
• Assist procurement of materials/subcontractors.
• Promote safety policies.
• Perform additional responsibilities as directed.
