Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; Master's preferred.
- 7+ years in industrial automation, robotics, or controls engineering.
- Proven robotics/automation experience with electrical system design and integration.
- Experience with FANUC robot programming a plus.
- Strong PLC programming and controls knowledge (Studio 5000, CCW).
- Skilled with electrical schematic design tools like EPLAN/AutoCAD Electrical.
- Familiar with HMI tools and safety system basics; programming in C/C++ or Python is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Responsibilities
- Define electrical requirements and specifications for robotic systems and automation projects.
- Design electrical systems for automated manufacturing, including motor control and sensors.
- Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts using CAD tools.
- Integrate sensors, drives, robotics, and automation into existing processes.
- Lead testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical components and systems.
- Analyze performance, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, and data acquisition.
- Stay current on robotics and automation trends to drive manufacturing improvements.
