Job summary

Duke Energy in Indiana seeks a Senior Electrical/Controls Engineer to support design and troubleshooting for coal, natural gas, hydro, and solar plants across the Midwest region.

You will lead engineering design activities, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with station engineers to resolve issues, manage schedules, and document findings. 25–50% travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor가 degree from ABET-accredited program; PE preferred.
• 5+ years engineering experience; or 4+ years with PE.
• Master’s degree may substitute for B.S. in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Design and support engineering for diverse generation assets (coal, gas, hydro, solar).
• Provide technical oversight for station operations and outages.
• Prepare reports, risk reviews, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with COSO and Station/Plant Engineers to initiate projects.
