The role requires an associate or engineering degree in electrical discipline, 10+ years electro‑mechanical experience, and strong ladder logic/PLC/SCADA skills.

Qualifications

• Associate or engineering degree in electrical discipline with focus on control systems.
• 10+ years experience in electro‑mechanical controls or similar role.
• NFPA 70E training or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of electro‑mechanical systems, motors, drives, servos, PLCs, PID-based controls and SCADA networks.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues to root cause across wiring, components and logic.
• Strong wiring fundamentals and use of test equipment; soldering and hand tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production lines and plant auxiliary equipment.
• Develop, modify, and maintain ladder logic in PLCs and touch panels.
• Plan and execute equipment installation or modification per project timelines.
• Design and wire electrical panels for new applications or modifications.
• Develop and maintain servo programs, SCADA, and Ethernet networks.
• Assist with capital needs and spare parts inventory for plant electrical/controls.
• Comply with GMP programs to ensure safe packaging of food products.
